Secondary (Years 7–15) / Wharekura, Certificated Teacher Subject: The Arts Position: Full-time, permanent, commencing Term 3, 2025 About the role We seek a dedicated professional with the ability to teach NCEA Levels 1-3 and Scholarship music. The ideal candidate will have experience in contemporary music (songwriting, music production, recording, band mentoring) and band conducting (big band, concert band, etc.).The successful candidate will have high expectations for student achievement and will engage in collaborative inquiry to improve student outcomes. Salary and conditions The terms and conditions, including the base salary, are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The salary range for trained and registered teachers is from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on qualifications and experience.
