Based in Wiri, this role will lead maintenance activities ensuring safety, quality, environmental protection, and operational performance by providing technical leadership to maintenance and production teams (TPM-PM). A Day in the Life This varied role reports to the Engineering Manager and involves collaboration with the maintenance planner and technical store personnel. Key responsibilities include:Implement high-performance operations through asset maintenance and planning aligned with Nestlé strategies, utilizing TPM and AMM approaches. Support technical store management to ensure proper inventory and spare parts planning. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring justification, planning, and tracking in accordance with Nestlé guidelines.Ensure utilities and utilities management meet food safety standards and production requirements. Coordinate between planned maintenance and spare parts procurement to optimize the technical store. Promote energy and water efficiency through M&I activities, adhering to SH&E policies. Leverage SAP to manage maintenance planning and collaborate cross-functionally for execution. What Will Make You Successful You should have strong engineering experience and: A degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or similar, with FMCG or food processing experience.At least 3 years in a technical role within food manufacturing or consumer goods industries. Experience in maintenance of fixed assets, budget management, TPM, preventive maintenance, and execution. Supervisory experience with technical teams, including contractors and suppliers. Participation in engineering projects, equipment start-ups, or process optimization teams.Ability to follow performance indicators and proactively manage objectives. Strong communication skills, proactive, thorough, with excellent relationship-building abilities. Applicants will undergo pre-employment health checks and must have full New Zealand working rights.
