We are seeking a SOX Controller to join their team on a remote or hybrid basis depending on the candidate's location.Responsibilities Develop and maintain a comprehensive SOX compliance program. Manage testing of all financial reporting controls to ensure effectiveness. Collaborate with internal and external auditors and stakeholders to identify control weaknesses and recommend remediation. Provide guidance and training on SOX compliance requirements.Monitor regulatory changes and update the SOX compliance program accordingly. Report SOX compliance status to senior management and the Audit Committee. Oversee documentation of SOX activities and maintain records. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.5+ years of SOX compliance experience, preferably in insurance. CPA or CIA certification preferred. Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and financial reporting impact. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and analytical skills. Experience managing and leading teams.
