About the opportunity: We are currently looking for entry-level or experienced Process Operators/Intermediate and Qualified Bakers to join our Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads site . The Process Operator/Baker will be required to ensure production targets are met, all compliance procedures are followed, and health and safety protocols are adhered to while carrying out various tasks in the processing areas.Opportunities currently exist for: Morning/Afternoon/Evening shifts Full-time - 4 x 10-hour shifts per week Part-time - 3 x 10-hour shifts per week Responsibilities include: Full compliance with company rules Operation of machinery and equipment following safe procedures Assisting across departments as neededAchieving OEE and waste reduction targets Participating in departmental meetings Completing Quality Assurance and Food Safety inductions and assessments, attending training Reporting and recording food safety and quality incidents promptly Executing startup procedures, machine setups, operational and cleaning processes accuratelyMaintaining personal hygiene and adhering to uniform and site standards Requirements for success: Effective communication skills, both oral and written Understanding of GMP and health and safety practices Quality awareness Previous experience in food manufacturing or machine operation is desirableWhat we offer: Working across sites in the Australasian region as part of a driven team at Goodman Fielder, you'll work with leading technologies producing reputable brands.
