About The Role In this highly visible role, you'll work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to drive business-wide outcomes. As Insights Manager, you will own the development and delivery of the Insights roadmap, build team capability, and enable the business—particularly Genesis Retail—through actionable insights. Lead the delivery of customer segmentation to inform high impact initiatives that directly influence customer acquisition and retention and value creation.Combining technical oversight with coaching and mentoring, you will uplift delivery standards, governance, and process maturity. A key focus of the role is unlocking commercial value from diverse data sources and delivering clear, compelling narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences.Key Responsibilities Translate business needs into data-driven solutions and communicate insights clearly to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Support the team in leveraging advanced analytics to extract actionable insights from large datasets, collaborating with the Data Science team as needed, and present clear recommendations to senior management to drive informed decision-making.Lead capability development in data-driven storytelling across the Insights and Data teams, drive process improvements focused on consistency, documentation, and quality, and provide technical guidance on data and analytics best practices. About You With extensive experience working within analytics and insights, including leadership positions, you have strong technical data and analysis skills and are passionate about driving data maturity within organisations. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships, combined with your strategic and customer-centric mindset, empowers you to lead teams with impact. You bring a proven track record in process improvement, team governance, and inspiring others to achieve shared objectives.Key Experience Tertiary qualification in a data-related field, with 8+ years of experience in analytics, including leadership roles. Experience in supporting customer segmentation/strategy Strong technical expertise in SQL, with hands-on experience in Databricks a valuable plus.
