Based in central Auckland, this permanent full-time role offers a hybrid working setup (3 days on-site, 2 remote). You’ll help design, build, and optimise modern data platforms that power business intelligence and analytics.In This Role, You Will Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory or Airflow. Process and transform structured and semi-structured data for reporting, dashboards, and analytics. Work with modern cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and services like Azure SQL and Blob Storage.Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business users to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions. Contribute to data architecture decisions and help define best practices across the team. Key Skills And Experience Demonstrated proficiency at the intermediate or senior level in data engineering or a related field.Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses like Snowflake. Familiarity with transformation tools like dbt (preferred) or similar frameworks. Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Fivetran (nice to have), or Apache Airflow.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
