The teaching position involves delivering bridging mathematics and statistics courses over five months, including Semester Two 2025.The successful candidate will teach: TFC Maths 90F at the City Campus, covering basics like number operations, proportional reasoning, measurement, and introductory algebra. Class times are: MON 2pm-3pm; THURS 12pm-2pm; FRI 9am-11am and TFC Statistics 92F at Te Tai Tonga (Manukau) Campus, in the second semester, preparing students for Stage One Statistics courses. Class times are:TUES 4pm-6pm; THURS 4pm-6pm The role includes marking, student meetings, and collaborating with a teaching team. The candidate should have secondary school teaching experience, relate well to young adults, and handle variable prior learning backgrounds. The position is 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week), including travel between campuses.The contract runs from July to November 2025, with a pro-rated salary between $100,696 and $121,897, depending on experience.
