Responding proactively to the needs of patients and families and ensuring efficient unit operation. Qualifications Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or equivalent experience is required. If MA certification is unavailable at hire, completion of full CNA coursework is acceptable.Previous ESA/PCA experience is required. For nursing students, completion of fundamentals of nursing with clinical components is preferred, especially those enrolled in BSN or direct-entry Master's programs. Bi-lingual skills are preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Current nursing license is not required.Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by AHA or Red Cross is required upon hire.
