In this vital role, you'll design and deliver tangata and whānau-centered initiatives that foster social connection, empower residents, and promote sustainable neighbourhoods.Working closely with individuals, whānau, iwi, internal teams, and partner organisations, you'll help build stronger, more engaged communities. Reporting to the National Tenancy Operations Manager, you will also support to upskill our tenancy team, increasing their engagement with tenants and encouraging deeper involvement in both internal and external community life.If you're committed to creating positive social outcomes and have a heart for community-led development, we'd love to hear from you. This role offers a salary band ranging from $98,152.28 to $104,414.06. Placement within this band will be determined by the extent to which candidates meet or exceed the relevant qualifications and experience requirements.This is a permanent full-time role Monday to Friday and will be based in Auckland but will support across our other regions in both the North and South Island. To thrive in this role, you'll bring a solid mix of professional experience, practical skills, and a passion for community-led change. We're looking for someone who has:A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Commerce, or Community Development At least 5 years' experience in community development or a related area Flexibility to travel across the South and North Island Strong knowledge of community resources and networks, with a proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationshipsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect across cultures and communities A sound understanding of community development principles and best practices Project management and planning experience A full, clean driver's license and permanent working rights Our team culture is very important to us.
