About The Team The property team works with a broad spectrum of clients across New Zealand, specialising in complex leasing, property development, and high-value portfolio acquisitions and disposals. The team has deep expertise in construction and infrastructure projects and advises major New Zealand and international corporates, iwi, and leading contractors. The team is led by partners Tom Bennett, Paula Ormandy, and Dan Kelleher.This role will involve working closely with Paula, a recognised leader in Build to Rent (BTR), Director of the Property Council’s National Board, and Co-Chair of Property Council New Zealand’s Residential Development Summit. Our ideal candidate would: have 5+ years of property-focused legal experience gained within a law firm or in-house environment demonstrate a track record working on a full range of property matters be experienced in advising on construction contracts, development agreements, and leasesbe skilled in contract drafting and negotiation enjoy collaborating within the team, the firm, and externally Overseas applicants must be admitted as a Solicitor in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, or a similar common law jurisdiction, and willing to relocate to New Zealand.
