Job Description: Physician Assistant in Emergency Department The Physician Assistant will provide patient care in the Emergency Department on a nocturnist schedule. Clinical care areas include acute care and observation at BWH, Faulkner Hospital, and urgent care at Brigham and Women's Foxborough Urgent Care sites. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling patients, interacting with family members and colleagues, and prescribing medications.PAs will work under the direct supervision of an attending Emergency Medicine physician unless they meet the criteria outlined in the EM PA Independent Clinical Guidelines, which require a minimum of two years of EM experience and demonstration of clinical excellence. The PA will report to the Chief PAs of the Department of Emergency Medicine.Education Master's Degree in Physician Assistant required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
