DescriptionThe Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading, dynamic and complex services organisation. As Finance Manager you will take responsibility for overseeing the revenue accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition, balance sheet position and maintaining compliance.A key part of the role will be to lead the external audit process and support the company’s financial integrity by ensuring robust financial controls are in place. You will manage a team of four direct reports, providing leadership, mentoring, and development, while also identifying and driving continuous process improvements across the finance function.Responsibilities Lead and develop the financial accounting revenue team, providing coaching, guidance and performance feedback to foster continuous development. Lead month-end and year-end close processes in the revenue and margin space in compliance with all relevant financial reporting regulations and policies.Manage external auditor relationship and audit processes. Provide accounting treatment guidance for business cases and product launches/changes to ensure compliance and minimise risk of surprises. Evaluate, implement and optimise financial systems and processes (including through use of AI) to streamline operations and improve controls/accuracy.Profile 5+ years of financial accounting experience, including Big 4 Audit experience. CA / CPA qualified. Strong technical accounting skills including a working knowledge of IFRS and its business application. Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions to enhance operational processes.Capacity to reimagine and redesign processes to optimize performance and achieve strategic goals.
