Be among the first to apply and secure your spot with us.We are looking for customer-obsessed individuals to join our team as Insurance Consultants. Hours of Work: 75 hours per fortnight (excluding unpaid meal breaks). Your work hours are between 8:45 am - 5:15 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 7:45 am– 8:00 pm Monday to Friday, set by a fortnightly roster.We invest in our people's development, enhancing your customer service and sales skills during your time with us. We will also provide training to become an underwriter, enabling you to evaluate risks related to home, contents, and vehicle insurance. Initially, during the first 3-6 months, your training will be conducted in our office. Subsequently, you will transition to flexible working, including up to 50% remote work.Customer interaction is key. You will communicate with customers and brokers via phone and email, working 37.5 hours over a 6-day week. Shifts start at 8 am and end at 6:30 pm on weekdays, and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. Rosters are published a month in advance for planning. Your Responsibilities:Evaluating risks and providing insurance quotes for new and existing customers. Fulfilling customer requests efficiently and promptly. Responding to customer and broker inquiries. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and brokers. Managing customer complaints per Suncorp NZ's framework to achieve positive outcomes.Qualifications and Skills Needed: Excellent customer service skills. Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are advantageous. Relationship management skills. Resilience and ability to handle complex tasks. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good commercial judgment.Computer literacy. Flexibility and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
