Our team is a close-knit group made up of a diverse range of professionals,focused on maintaining a collaborative and safety-driven work environment.The Role: Working from our Auckland office and factory, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Structural Steel Site Foreman/Manager to oversee site operations, manage teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will be the key link between project management, site crews, and clients.Key Responsibilities: (Reporting to the Managing Director) Oversee all on-site activities, including steel erection and installation. Manage and coordinate site crews, subcontractors, and deliveries. Monitor progress, quality, health and safety compliance. Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed correctly.Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and reporting. Maintain clear communication with project managers and clients. Support a positive and inclusive team culture. Skills and Experience Required: Minimum 5 years' experience in structural steel erection or related industries. Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications. Excellent knowledge of site health and safety practices. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively. Good verbal and written communication skills. Full New Zealand Driver’s License. Preferred but Not Essential:Ability to communicate both written and orally in both English and Chinese would be an advantage, to support effective communication across our diverse range of teams and clients. Relevant trade qualification or certifications (e.g., Site Safe Gold Card, Rigging, Crane, or Welding tickets) We can provide additional training or updating of lapsed certificates.What We Offer: Competitive remuneration based on experience.
