Part time temp role in the medical sector - Orthopaedic distributor based in Wairau Valley. Friendly team, free parking, start next week! 02nd May, 2025 Part time temp assignment for the next 2-3 months 25-30 hours each day, Mon - Fri (must be able to work up to 7 hours) Based in Wairau Valley$26 - $27 per hour + holiday pay, Kiwisaver (paid weekly) Our client is a successful, internationally owned Orthopaedics company, specialising in joint replacements. They develop, manufacture and supply products to the medical profession in New Zealand. We are looking for a switched on temp to help the team over the next few months, with the main duties being: Dealing with inwards goods (medical components), checking stock against packing slips and putting awayChecking surgical loan sets in/out against check lists and handling medical implants/instruments Clerical paperwork/filing General light office/warehouse duties/tidying up The focus of this role involves being responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of shipments which arrive weekly in the warehouse including stock control and maintaining processes to ensure customer standards are upheld and orders are fulfilled quickly. The products are small medical instruments so a high attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. You will be someone who is a methodical/quick worker with a flexible attitude and excellent English (verbal and written). A good level of computer proficiency and good physical health is required for some lifting (5-15kg).This is a great part time opportunity for someone who is keen to work close to home on the Shore with free parking. This temp role is for at least 2 months with the potential to be extended.
