Our mission is to empower patients, their families, and communities to achieve recovery and optimal wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.Responsibilities Job Summary The Clinical Manager oversees day-to-day clinical responsibilities, monitors service quality by reviewing therapy sessions, guides counselors in developing appropriate patient interventions and treatment plans, and ensures compliance with industry standards. They conduct ongoing assessments of treatment program effectiveness, collaborate with the Director to ensure program efficiency, and provide clinical supervision to staff. The Clinical Manager ensures adherence to outpatient programming, possesses comprehensive knowledge of DSM and ASAM criteria, and fosters an atmosphere of customer service and excellence. They also engage families/significant others in treatment, ensure staff are well-trained, and participate in leadership and on-call rotations.Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Supervises counselors providing individual and group therapy, maintaining supervision logs.Provides consultations and documents session results. Conducts initial assessments to support team workloads. Recommends specialized services for patients and collaborates with treatment teams. Monitors chart quality and provides input on budgeting and planning. Oversees counseling and case management schedules.Mentors and coaches staff, and serves as a clinical consultant on complex cases. Participates in after-hours supervision and leadership meetings. Develops staff training and protocols, maintains documentation, and conducts audits. Coordinates with families and manages direct reports. Prepares and presents performance evaluations, ensures clinical documentation compliance, and oversees clinical services.Ensures adherence to clinical standards and treatment fidelity. Works closely with outpatient services to ensure seamless care and manages continuing care protocols. Performs psychological and behavioral assessments as needed, including suicide risk assessments. Maintains resource guides, conducts staff training, and reviews clinical records for compliance.Ensures documentation timeliness and staff competency in EMR use. Collaborates on quality improvement initiatives, manages crises, and maintains confidentiality and emergency preparedness. Participates in mandatory training, monitors policy adherence, and promotes respectful, culturally sensitive care.Qualifications Education/Experience: Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences or related field and 5 years of mental health experience. LICSW or LMHC required. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office. Certificates and Licenses: LICSW, LMHC, LMFT; CPR preferred.Supervisory Responsibility: Oversees clinical and case management staff at Worcester OP and remote sites.
