About the team&role: The objective of the Payments Growth Team is to increase the number of customers using payment services and to boost the usage of these services in their daily business operations. This team operates in a high-cadence experimental environment, emphasizing collaboration. What you'll doExperimentation Design: Design and execute growth experiments across relevant product areas for Payments within Xero, using hypothesis-based testing and validation methods. Design Practice and Thinking: Collaborate with design leadership to shape the Product Design vision, ensure top-quality execution, and advocate for design value. Engage in research, define problems, create wireframes and visual layouts, explore interaction solutions, develop prototypes, and ensure accessibility and detailed interactions.Design Research and Testing: Identify research opportunities, plan and conduct user research and testing to understand customer needs and synthesize data. Relationship Management: Influence and support other designers, contribute to product initiatives, facilitate workshops, and collaborate across teams to balance user needs, business goals, and technical possibilities. Work closely with development teams during sprints to maintain design quality and resolve issues.What you'll bring with you Experience with growth and experimentation design, including behavioral design techniques, a data-informed approach, and hypothesis testing with rapid iteration. Experience designing products focused on user acquisition and conversion optimization. Experience iterating on products based on usage data and user feedback within an evolving strategic context.A portfolio showcasing high-quality design outcomes that enhance user experience and business value.
