Morgan, Lewis&Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal for the Trademark Portfolio Services department of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. The Trademark Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all aspects of trademark portfolio management, copyright portfolio management, and IP due diligence.Morgan Lewis supports flexible working arrangements. This position can be based in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C., with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule. Flexibility with overtime is required. Key responsibilities include: Preparing applications for trademark and service mark registration.Preparing ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings. Preparing Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings and trademark record title update filings. Assisting with trademark and copyright due diligence. Performing online preliminary trademark clearance searches and preparing search guides.Preparing applications for copyright registrations. Drafting correspondence to clients and local counsel regarding trademark prosecution and maintenance issues. Keeping attorneys informed of upcoming deadlines and coordinating updates for clients. Performing other tasks as assigned. Experience and qualifications:Bachelor's degree required. 2-3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. Paralegal certificate preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong legal research and investigation skills. Ability to follow instructions and procedures.Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively. Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
