Developing and supporting the partnership between CP and the customer(s) at the store and regional level by nurturing contacts and negotiation. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development&Monitoring Build store-specific account plans to identify opportunities to drive incremental Net Sales through tracking of KPI’s and analysis of: Micro territory reports Category ranking reports Priority ranking reports Providing shopper and consumer insight to support fact-based decision makingManagement of trade spend to drive incremental Net Sales Management of promotion efficiency to drive incremental Net Sales Promotional evaluation to maximize ROI Presentation of New Products Building and managing relationships with key players at the store and/or regional level Conduct regular account performance reviews to review the business, and present opportunities to improve and grow that businessConducting negotiations as necessary (listings, planograms, displays, promotion execution etc) at store level Coordinating special promotion events in store— value-added promotions, pallet-ready displays etc. Effective supply chain management, including: Ensuring optimum stock levels on shelf and safety stock levels in storeProviding analytical support to buyers to ensure stock coverage for key promotions Timely and effective communication of Out-Of-Stock (OOS) situations to stores Sales Team Involvement Provide feedback to KAM/Operations Manager on customer strategy changes affecting 5P execution Review store promotion performance to provide fact-based challenge to promotion strategy where appropriateProviding consistent and accurate data collection to monitor 5P performance vs. target Work with the Manager to review Merchandiser itineraries (location, frequency, duration vs. plan) and roles to ensure optimal deployment of limited resources Monitor competitive activity at store level, record key activities, identify best practices, and discuss with BDM for strategic/tactical responsesCollaborate with logistics to plan, analyze, forecast customer needs, follow up on orders, and prioritize customer requirements when products are unavailable Administration Utilize communication tools effectively– UMPC Check invoices&credits for validity and accuracy before processing Attend weekly WIPs with Key Account Managers— share and collect market information Coordinate Merchandiser call cycles to support key stores and ad hoc promotions Monitor hours worked in target stores within budget and weekly sign-off of Merchandiser hoursMaintain an updated Account Profile of key customer details Manual lifting is a requirement of the role.
