Team Coach, Auckland

Role Overview We are seeking an inspirational and motivated leader to join us as a full-time Team Coach (TC) based in Manurewa, Auckland. This role involves overseeing our well-established youth respite service, ManaTaiohi, and our Real Talk Group programme, including community-based mentoring support.Key Responsibilities Oversee direct Taiohi care, ensuring exceptional support in community settings. Support resource efficiency and foster service innovation and improvement. Lead and support staff through coaching, recruitment, professional development, and performance management. Report to the Service and Relationship Manager, collaborating to achieve team goals.Develop and expand services to meet emerging community needs. Build strong inter-sector networks and partnerships. Position Details This is a permanent, full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am– 5 pm, based in Manurewa, with a on-call roster. About You We seek someone passionate about the wellbeing of Taiohi and their whānau, especially those navigating mental health challenges. Ideal candidates will have:HPCA regulated health practitioner registration with a current APC (e.g., Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker). At least one year's experience in mental health, AOD, disability, healthcare, or social services. Leadership experience supporting and managing teams. Ability to work collaboratively with health services, PHOs, and the wider youth and social sectors.Role model wellbeing and leadership, supporting our staff to do the same.
