You will be joining a nationwide team that shares a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality education and services to DHH ākonga and their whānau.THE ROLE / TE MAHI We are looking for an experienced part-time (0.4 FTE) Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Services Team, working with students from 5-21 years of age. This role is based at our Auckland Campus in Kelston and supports ourākonga and their families/whānau in our Kelston and Ormiston Deaf provisions, including our residential services.You will: Support the wellbeing of ourākonga and their whānau Work closely with Ko Taku Reo’s Occupational Therapist in developing plans and providing support to children, young people, and teachers Ensure compliance with the organisation's values and legislative requirements Collaborate with families, schools, and other agencies to help children and young people access the NZ curriculumAdvocate for student needs appropriately Adapt equipment or the school environment to support student needs Maintain appropriate records Work with wider staff across the organisation to ensure the best outcomes for students ABOUT US / MŌ MĀTOU At Ko Taku Reo, we aim to support and empower DHH children to reach their full potential, nurturing their identity and wellbeing.
