Our beautiful 1912 villa in Papatoetoe has always been a place of healing and rest. It was initially a homestead, then a convent, and a rest home, before being renovated for Pathways in 2008, becoming Tupu Ake. The hours are variable and are offered as they become available. We operate 24/7 in our Tupu Ake service.Shift options include: Day Shifts: 7.00am - 3.30pm Afternoon Shifts: 3.00pm - 11.30pm Night Shifts: 11.00pm - 7.30am You will report to the Team Coach and join our Pathways Auckland peer-led support team, which provides an alternative to hospital admission and can accommodate up to 12 guests. The team is composed of peersupport specialists, all sharing the goal of supporting individuals experiencing mental illness.You | Mōu: We are interested in hearing from peers with a period of wellness and experience working in a recovery-focused way for our Tupu Ake service. You’ll also have: A current peer employment training (PET) certificate A NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent,or be willing to start studying towards this within six months of employment (to be completed within two years). We support workers in completing this study.A WRAP training certificate A full NZ driver’s licence A current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one Knowledge of, and commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Closing Date: Wednesday, 14th May 2025.
