Water is vital for life, and we are committed to ensuring access to safe water for every community.About the job: We’re seeking an experienced Contract Manager to foster profitability and sustainable growth in our Small Waters area. You will achieve strategic objectives such as growth, innovation, efficiency, and excellence by aligning with Citycare Water’s values and ensuring project execution is efficient.Responsibilities include: Managing small water and wastewater treatment plants operations and maintenance. Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients. Developing project engineering schedules and forecasts. Planning, scheduling, and coordinating technical and managerial project aspects.Implementing continuous improvements in service, productivity, and operational efficiency, including new technologies. Managing day-to-day staff associated with the Small Waters contract. Requirements: NZCE/BE qualification and appropriate technical qualifications in Civil Engineering. Over 3 years of operational management experience.Proven ability to drive operational improvements and efficiencies. Technical and practical experience in water or wastewater treatment. Strong commitment to quality assurance and HSE standards. Passion for operational efficiency, alignment with Citycare Water’s values, and a commitment to Te Mana O te Wai are essential for success.All candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including criminal conviction reports, medical assessments, and drug and alcohol testing.
