You will be responsible for delivering our construction-centric youth programme. Our site is built especially for trades training and features classrooms, workshops, and labs, so you can put your theory into practice. You will work with a diverse group of students, from school leavers to career changers. Our programmes combine hands-on practical learning and classroom theory.No teaching or tutoring experience is required ; we provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role. You will teach in line with programme requirements and contribute to developing our teaching resources. About You A minimum Level 4 National Certificate in Carpentry/Construction, with knowledge of current regulatory and industry standardsIndustry experience in construction/building Genuine interest in supporting and providing an exceptional learning experience to students Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to stay calm and patient under pressure Ability to improve and implement simple daily processesStrong written and verbal communication skills Passion for helping people, especially youth and young adults About Us NZMA is one of New Zealand’s largest private training establishments, offering vocational courses across various fields including hospitality, health, and trades.
