We’re now ready to scale our management team by adding a dedicated National Sales Manager to lead our expansion intonew markets and sectors. We seek an aspirational people manager who can lead leaders to empower others across the wider team.The Role: We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on National Sales Manager to lead sales strategy, drive new business, and build long-term client relationships across New Zealand. This role is perfect for someone with experience in B2B service industries (security, cleaning, FM, logistics) who thrives on closing deals, building pipelines, and working with operational teams to ensure client satisfaction and contract growth.You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the general manager, regional ops managers and supervisors on the ground. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting sectors like construction, property management, retail, logistics, and government - Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads, turning them into profitable long-term contracts- Lead or assist in RFPs, tenders, and proposals (public and private sector) - Create sales materials, pricing models, proposal templates, and playbooks - Support and coach regional teams and ops managers to drive local sales performance - Expand existing accounts across multiple sites or services- Use CRM tools to track activity, forecast revenue, and measure ROI - Represent the brand at networking events, expos, and industry meetups What You’ll Bring: - 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally in security services, facilities management, staffing, or logistics - Strong network and credibility across NZ business sectors- Proven experience winning contracts over $100K+ in annual value - Strong understanding of margin, pricing, and service delivery models - Ability to work independently and travel nationally as needed - Excellent written and verbal communication (especially in tender writing) - A self-starter mindset— you're proactive, persuasive, and persistentWe Offer: - Competitive base salary: $100K–$140K, depending on experience - Commission structure on net new revenue earn - Bonus incentives for large or strategic contract wins - Tools of trade: Laptop, phone, car allowance, travel reimbursement - Flexibility: Work from home or hybrid (HQ in Auckland)- The chance to help shape a national sales function and build a team under you Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Security Guards and Patrol Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Absolute Security Group NZ by 2xSign in to set job alerts for“National Sales Manager” roles.
