Come and build the future and help us, to help New Zealand win big in a digital world.We are seeking a proactive and experienced Finance Business Partner within our Group Performance and Capital Markets Team. Reporting to the Finance Lead Partner, you will be getting involved in key project work that is coming up related to our strategy refresh while also bringing external perspectives in to planning and elevating actions from reporting.You will be strong at connecting the dots on strategy, underlying drivers and financial performance, and will support the wider team on priorities. This means you need to be comfortable working across changing priorities and ambiguity while driving for the best outcomes across Spark. You are happy to roll your sleeves up while also staying across the big picture, can learn quickly and relationship building is a strength.Financial lead on the 3-year plan and 10-year plan working with strategy and across the business, macro and global economic and competitor trends and translating this to key impacts and areas for consideration. Playing a key role in Spark’s strategy refresh and transformation plan, becoming the go to finance person and telling the story.Working across finance to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to align financial insights with business goals, strategy, and performance metrics. Driving continuous improvement and elevating reporting including actionable insights and trends.Supporting the broader team as needed with external and internal reporting, working capital, analysis and process improvement. Tō wheako- your experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sector. Ability to understand drivers of performance and synthesis messaging for different audiences, with experience in forecasting, budgeting and modelling.Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills including the ability to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders of all levels. Able to see the bigger picture whilst also rolling sleeves up and being across the numbers. Strong commercial acumen and influencing skills. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.Adaptable and agile, able to prioritise and juggle multiple demands across the portfolio.
