The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our ANZ Marketing team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the primary responsibility is managing a portfolio of products, achieving or exceeding sales, profit, and market share targets by developing and executing the business plan on time and in full. These brands are sold through Pharmacy, Grocery, and Primary Care channels.Key Accountabilities Include Development and implementation of the business plan for the brands. Maintain high product knowledge and understanding of brand attributes. Understand consumer and shopper trends, needs, and behaviors. Conduct market analysis to understand dynamics and anticipate trends.Analyze competitor strategies and activities. Prepare SWOT and PEST analyses. Translate sales data and market research into insights for brand positioning and growth. Identify and develop innovation pipelines for growth. Set pricing and channel strategies in collaboration with Sales. Marketing Plan Development and Execution Implement effective communication plans aligned with brand objectives.Develop advertising and promotional programs targeted to various stakeholders. Collaborate on category and brand insights, strategies, and marketing plans. Create POS materials for in-store initiatives. Measure KPIs and ROI regularly. Operational Activities Management Lead product and packaging optimization projects.Manage promotional material approvals. Track product performance and lead forecasting and rationalization. Review brand financial health and SKU profitability. Manage A&P spend within budget. Lead market research initiatives. Support trade shows and sponsorships. Manage sampling programs and NPD projects. About You Experience in Brand Management within FMCG health, prescription in NZ. Experience with above and below the line marketing campaigns. Experience marketing products in pharmacy and/or grocery channels.Experience managing a brand P&L. Proficiency with scan or ex-wholesaler data reporting tools (iQvia, IRI). Minimum 3 years’ experience in Brand Management. Degree in marketing or related business discipline (desirable). Understanding of Medsafe and Medicines NZ guidelines (desirable).
