We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Customer Business Manager for a 9-month fixed term (starting end of August 2025) to join our Pet Specialty team, focusing on strategies for Pet Stores and the Vet channel.A day in the Life… Develop and implement strategies for the 'Pet Specialty’ channel, focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives. Manage the budget for the Pet Specialty channels to meet financial goals. Lead relationships with external partners (Key accounts and wholesalers) to ensure alignment, negotiations, and daily business management.Achieve KPIs specific to the channel, aligned with overall business goals and customer engagement. Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure strategic alignment and support customer initiatives. Build relationships with stakeholders, work with Supply Chain for forecasting, guide the Field team on priorities, and collaborate with Marketing on advocacy and acquisition programs to drive growth.Develop promotional strategies, forecasts, and reports within a monthly business cycle. What will make you successful: Proven senior experience in Customer Business Management and leading a Customer Key Account team with a collaborative leadership style. Strong knowledge of the Pet Specialty and/or Vet Channel, with a track record of achieving targets.Understanding of partner functions such as Market Development Organization (MDO), Marketing, Customer Management, and Field Sales. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen. Ability to adapt to market changes and drive results.Full New Zealand work rights required. Pre-employment checks, including health checks, may be necessary.
