We’re on the hunt for a Business Development Manager with experience and a passion for multi-unit properties to join our Auckland team. This person will ideally have either a background in Business Development, or as a Body Corporate Manager, with fantastic interpersonal skills and an understanding of bodies corporate and incorporated societies.About Us Strata Title Administration is a leading national Body Corporate Management business with more than 25 years' experience providing high-quality services to our clients; unit owners, committees, and chairpersons. Description:What You'll Be Doing You will be pivotal to the growth of our business, working closely with our Business Development team to build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing developers and bodies corporates, whilst using your knowledge of bodies corporate to ensure any business we onboard meets the requirements of the Unit Titles Act (and other legislation). A key focus of the role will be onboarding new business, leading their first Annual General Meeting with Strata Title, and ensuring a smooth transition to their allocated Body Corporate Manager.This is a permanent, full-time role in which you will report to our one of our experienced Senior Business Development Managers. Your key responsibilities will be: Building and maintaining working relationships with developers and body corporate persons (chairpersons, building managers, committees, and owners)Working closely with our Business Development team to prospect new business Working with developers and contractors to ensure any new developments meet the requirements of the Unit Titles Act (and other relevant legislation) Maintaining a working knowledge of the Unit Titles Act and Regulations Preparing for, organising, and chairing meetings for the body corporateEnsuring administration, service contract, and audit requirements are adhered to Having a sound understanding of budgets and financials as well as administration Applying professional problem-solving and multi-tasking skills Please note: there is some requirement for after-hours work for chairing meetings. Skills and Experiences: About You The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience.2-3 years’ experience in a Body Corporate Management, Business Development or similar role A tertiary degree or diploma, ideally in property, management, marketing/comms or law Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills Ability to manage the demands of a rapidly evolving environmentMicrosoft Office skills; knowledge of Strata Master/MRI software an advantage Strong verbal and written English skills Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills Strata will provide full training on all technical aspects.
