The candidate must be a self-starter, supporting project goals according to the defined success path and identifying problem areas for resolution.WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU BS Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus) Minimum 4 years of relevant experience FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification is a plus Familiarity with stress and finite element analysis of pressure vessels and piping Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid mechanicsFamiliarity with AISC code and pipe support design Membership in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is a plus Ability to travel ( Excellent communication skills with team members and clients Personable and able to work effectively in a small office environment Strong technical and report-writing skillsNote: Due to the nature of work at United, candidates must be US citizens.
