Volunteer Receptionists– Bishop Auckland Hospice

Do you have some spare time to do something amazing, and help our friendly Bishop Auckland Hospice team with reception duties? Days/Hours: We are looking for help to cover Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (from 1pm-4.30pm ). Duties will include: Answering the telephone, transferring calls.Taking messages and passing on to specified person. Adhering to our clear desk policy. Directing patients to the waiting area. Following the clear desk policy and safeguarding policy. Helping with other administration tasks as and when required. Requirements: No experience is required; some admin/secretarial experience would be great, but we will welcome anyone who is professional, reliable, friendly, and can respect the confidentiality of the information they are handling.In order to meet our Safeguarding obligations, we will help you to obtain a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and to complete our online mandatory training modules prior to starting with us.
