You will: ensure all supervised entities comply with their contractual and regulatory obligations; ensure Corporate Trusts meets its own regulatory obligations; and at all times to act in the best interests of investors and beneficiaries.Responsibilities Conducting regular meetings with supervised entities to discuss and review ongoing compliance and service delivery. Assisting with in depth reviews of supervised entities, preparation of risk assessment and monitoring plans. Contributing towards service strategy and the appropriate design of methods and tools to be used as part of our supervision.Ensuring that all supervised entities’ reports are received, processed and reviewed. Identifying, managing and reporting all non-compliance. Ensuring all supervisor actions and conclusions are documented and recorded. Assisting in the coaching and development of peers. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Law.Corporate Trusts Services experience Accounting, Audit, Risk and Compliance, Finance or Legal experience Investments and financial understanding Required Skills You can develop and maintain strong relationships via meaningful engagement and industry leadership. It is important that you understand that working with honesty and integrity is the foundation of building the trust and confidence of others. You have ample experience in adding value through the provision of exceptional trusted advice and quality services that exceed expectations.You have an extensive local and global understanding of the financial services industry including the trends impacting it and our place and opportunities in it and you are able to apply that knowledge to add value to supervised entities and their customers in our provision of fiduciary and related services.You are familiar with compliance in funds management and New Zealand banking products. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Law.
