Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing procurement strategies Managing and appointing trades and packages efficiently Leading negotiations and managing supplier relationshipsOptimising supply chains to ensure timely delivery Managing budgets, reviewing costs, and overseeing tender and programming reviews Overseeing progress claims, variations, cash flow forecasting, and contract management Handling dispute resolution and project closeout Leading and motivating a large commercial teamAbout you: Motivated, ambitious, and commercially aware leader with experience working with high-profile clients Proven success in delivering iconic projects Strong financial acumen and experience in high-pressure environments Robust relationships with key supply chain partners Team builder with a passion for training and developmentCurrently in an experienced Commercial Manager role with at least 5 years' experience, and at least 10 years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in major commercial construction Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders Relevant qualification such as a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying (preferred)Excellent knowledge of NZ contracts and financial control packages like Jobpac Advanced computer skills, especially in Excel Why Hawkins Join our passionate and energetic team, and build a successful career with a market-leading company alongside industry experts.
