Join the growing team at TFE Hotels as our Director of Sales New Zealand . With an increased footprint in New Zealand, adding another 500+ rooms, we are looking for a sales expert to lead our sales team. Reporting to the Global Sales Officer, the Director of Sales, NZ, will operate with a high degree of independence. You will play a pivotal role within the Leadership Team to implement and direct all aspects of our sales strategy to ensure each hotel's performance meets and exceeds the annual sales targets and the overall group performance.Which brings us to you You’re more than just a Sales whiz. Collaborating with the Global sales team to deliver goals and maximize inbound and outbound business locally and globally. Conducting needs analysis for each hotel to identify focus areas.Identifying new opportunities across the network, including creating local heat maps. Fostering positive relationships internally and externally. Setting goals and expectations for the sales team; monitoring performance to ensure targets are met. Managing top corporate, travel agent, and key partnership relationships, including key accounts.Working with the Operational Head of New Zealand and Revenue teams to align goals. Staying informed of industry trends and advising GSO accordingly. Coordinating communication of sales activities with stakeholders. Ensuring healthy relationships to facilitate goal setting and results. Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and action plans.Producing reports and delivering presentations to hotel owners and stakeholders. Ensuring seamless sales to operations turnover while providing high-level service. Providing team engagement and training to optimize results. Criteria Tertiary qualifications in hotel management or related field are desirable.7-10 years of experience in senior hotel sales roles. Experience in developing and executing sales strategies at group and hotel levels. Strong relationship-building skills. Leadership skills to develop and grow the sales team. Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. Understanding of industry trends.Business acumen with sound decision-making skills. Strategic thinking and planning skills.
