As we look to expand our global presence with new offices in Rome and Singapore in 2025, we remain dedicated to providing exceptional client support.About the Role We are currently seeking a technically experienced Senior/Principal Transmission Lines Engineer (Civil/Structural) in our GridLinkx department. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work from any of our Australian or New Zealand offices and will be joining the strongest technical leadership team of Lines Engineering in Asia Pacific. Responsibilities include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projects, providing technical support, troubleshooting, liaising with stakeholders, and industry networking.Key Responsibilities&Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum 6 years of experience in designing and delivering transmission infrastructure Planning, designing, and constructing overhead Transmission Lines Proficiency in PLS software (PLS-CADD, TOWER, POLE) Designing high-voltage transmission towers (up to 500kV)Understanding overhead transmission line systems, structural design, and standards Knowledge of Australian and international codes (e.g., AS/NZS 7000, ASCE 74, IEEE 1284.1) Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills with a focus on quality and timely delivery Chartered Professional Engineer (CPENG) accreditation preferredWhat We Offer Collaborative, technically strong project environment Long-term career development opportunities Access to industry-leading tools and technologies Structured, professional workplace emphasizing safety, integrity, and excellence Competitive remuneration and flexible work arrangements where applicableAPD is an equal opportunity employer promoting diversity and inclusion.
