We are looking for Maintenance team members to help maintain our 250 guest rooms in the Hermitage complex, along with our 150 staff accommodation rooms, as well as the surrounding support buildings and grounds. This is a varied and fast-paced role with a fun and enthusiastic team, in an environment like no other.What you will be doing General labour and maintenance tasks across our hotel rooms, motels, lodge, and staff accommodation. Operating and maintaining all tools and machinery as outlined in department SOPs. Planning and prioritizing jobs to ensure time limits are met. Ensuring a high standard of health, safety, and hygiene is maintained.What you will bring to the role In love with the outdoors and adapted to remote living. A confident and safe driver, you hold a full clean NZ Driver’s license or international equivalent. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Friendly, outgoing, and professional, with excellent communication skills.Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize. A strong desire to strive for excellence. The role and benefits Fulltime position: currently 95 hours a fortnight working 7am - 5pm, potentially reducing to 7:30-4:30 over winter. Hourly rate is $25 - $27 depending on experience.
