We are looking for an experienced electrician or EWRB registered electrical engineer to join our machine safety team undertaking exciting and dynamic projects. This is offered as a technician / engineering role with potential involvement in the wider engineering team.Tasks Your tasks will be varied but include the following examples: Carrying out Machine safety Risk assessments as required. Liaising with customers and other engineering staff to design and implement machine safety solutions. Overseeing installation projects with complex timelines and deliverables.Fault finding machine safety systems and effecting repairs or upgrades. Minimum Requirements The successful candidate will need: Excellent verbal communication. Computer skills. New Zealand driver license. New Zealand residency or work visa. Prior experience in industrial installation projects and/or industrial fault-finding and machine safety applications.The academic requirements for this role may be met with any of the following: A Registered electrician or EWRB registered engineer from an industrial background. CMSE or other TUV safety qualification, CAD or Eplan experience would be a plus, but we are happy to put a successful applicant through training where appropriate.An automation background is also favourable.
