Registered Social Worker, Auckland

Our Central Otago team are looking for a Registered Social Worker to provide generic social work support and advocacy based in our Wanaka office. In this role you will work alongside our local multi-disciplinary team of 9 staff spread across Central Otago / Queenstown Lakes, as well as connect with our wider Family Works team across the Otago region to provide effective, quality social work services to clients and the community.Are you Someone with sound knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and an understanding of working within a bi-cultural and multi-cultural framework. Great with interpersonal and advocacy skills and can prioritize working collaboratively. Understanding of the impact of social complexities and be able to use your skills and knowledge to work within a generic community social work team.Able to work autonomously whilst also being part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
