Senior Interiors Quantity Surveyor, Auckland

This is a well-led medium-sized contractor with a strong and reputable brand covering all interior fit-outs and refurbishments for commercial and residential jobs. Areas of trade include suspended ceilings, insulation, ceilings, fixings, stoppings, and painting. This is a senior role leading the interiors projects for this diverse main contractor. As a SQS, you will be involved in the entire process both pre and post contract, from tender management and preparing estimates to post contract work including controlling all costs on projects, certifying subcontractors' work, identifying variations, costing variation works, agreeing subcontractors' final accounts, and reporting to directors. There will be site visits involved.As an applicant, you have: 7+ years of QS experience either in an interiors main or sub-contractor Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, especially strong in negotiation Highly analytical A team player Salary: $130K - $170K + car parking.
