It's an exciting time to grow with the organisation.The Role Reporting to the Technical Specialists Section Lead, you will be a Power Systems Engineer working closely with Ergo's generation, transmission, and distribution partners. This will involve engaging with key clients, utilising your technical knowledge to understand their challenges before building detailed technical case studies.This will see you working on Ergo's clients' most technically challenging and complex projects across grid connection studies, earthing&lightning studies, cable assessments, and more. Collaborating with the internal team of experienced Design and Protection Engineers, this role presents a unique opportunity for you to tackle the industry's greatest challenges. About You Bringing a passion for the future of the energy sector, you will be a qualified Electrical Power Systems Engineer with strong experience across either generation, transmission, or distribution. Having undertaken power system studies with tools such as Powerfactory, Sincal, or ETAP, earthing studies using CDEGS, and cable studies using CYMCAP, you will bring extensive knowledge across a range of projects. Utilising your ability to document and openly discuss your technical solutions with clients is essential for the role.This may see you as somebody at an asset owner, currently working as an Engineer within a generation, transmission, or distribution environment, with the desire to test and further develop your technical skills. Alternatively, you may be a Power Systems Engineer from a consulting background, bringing strong experience in technical case studies and report writing, seeking the opportunity to work as part of a passionate and high-level team in a supportive environment, whilst enjoying a great work-life balance.The Opportunity With Ergo being a growing and dynamic environment, joining the team presents an opportunity for you to take control of the future of your career.
