The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced, high-energy Sales Director to lead the charge in expanding our Australian presence. You’ll be responsible for strategic direction, team leadership, and business development across the region—all while working closely with global counterparts to align with our international vision.What You’ll Be Doing Strategic Planning&Execution Develop and implement market-specific sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall vision. Set and track clear, measurable sales targets. Use tools like IIR to identify and capitalize on project opportunities. Keep a close eye on market gaps and recommend localized product adaptations.Sales Leadership&Team Building Lead the Australian sales function with a hands-on approach, growing into a leadership role as the team scales. Define team roles and hire top-tier sales talent. Build a high-performance culture based on coaching, KPIs, and ongoing development. Key Accounts&Business Development Personally manage and grow high-value accounts, especially in the early growth phase. Forge strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders, industry partners, and decision-makers. Represent the company at key customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows. Cross-Functional&International Collaboration Collaborate with Sales Directors across the Group to align strategies and share best practices. Work closely with regional marketing and training teams to tailor the approach to local market needs. Share intelligence on foreign competitors to support our global positioning.Reporting&Performance Monitoring Monitor sales metrics, forecasts, and market trends. Use the C4C CRM system to maintain visibility and accuracy. Continuously adapt strategies based on data and field feedback. Operational&Commercial Oversight Ensure all pricing and contracts are competitive and aligned with group policies. Manage team budgets and allocate resources effectively. Oversee proposals, tender submissions, and contract negotiations. About You– What We’re Looking For You’re not just another Sales Director—you’re a builder, a driver, and a leader.Must-haves: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Business/Technical Management. MBA or further qualifications in Engineering/Project Management are a plus. At least 5 years of senior-level sales leadership experience in technical sales within the M&E, construction, or industrial sectors. Proven track record of selling complex solutions via specifiers, distributors, and contractors (including EPCs). Sharp commercial instincts and strong pipeline-building abilities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. Comfortable with frequent travel—this role will require regular overnight trips across the country.️ Please Note: If you’re unable to commit to regular national travel, this role is not for you.
