Our team specializes in a diverse range of projects including public infrastructure, renewable energy, and property developments.The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Geometric Designer / Civil Designer to join our Civil Infrastructure team based in either our Auckland or Wellington office. This role will include, but not be limited to, the following: Development of design and documentation from concept to construction issue.Using 3D modelling software in the design of roads and parking geometrics, earthworks, stormwater management and utilities. Expertise in Civil3D software is required, and experience with 12D modelling software would also be of significant benefit. Preparation and documentation of technical drawings (CAD).Coordinating and model management with other disciplines for BIM projects during design and construction phases. Assisting in technical development of modelling standards and protocols, with the opportunity to participate in ongoing testing and integration of new digital design tools. Demonstrated experience within civil design, with specific project experience across geometric roadway design, public domain grading, stormwater management and earthworks analysis. Experience with property development and/or infrastructure design.High level of proficiency in Civil3D software, and experience with 12D. Experience, and confidence, to plan and develop efficient design and documentation production workflows within a team environment. Experience delivering projects through site stage / construction monitoring phase. The desire to work on a wide variety, of often challenging and complex, brownfield development projects within NZ and supporting our overseas offices.Motivation to drive your professional development with our support.
