Responsibilities: To be responsible for the overall wellbeing and happiness of the children in your care. To help deliver a program of daily activities suitable for the age range of the children in a safe environment.To promote the ethos of Discover Activity Camps, providing an exceptional role model to children in your care. Promotion of exceptional safeguarding practices at all times, including awareness of recording and reporting procedure in accordance with the Safeguarding Policy. To be responsible for the security of the premises in which activities are undertaken.To ensure that buildings and rooms are adequately secured upon departure through the use of door codes and locks. Provide a friendly welcome to all holiday club attendees, meeting and greeting parents, signing children in at the start of the day and out at the end of the day. Accompany children around the site to different activities, supervising lunch and supervising open play sessions.Experience&Qualities: If you have worked in a Holiday Club environment before that would be great, but don’t worry if you haven’t! Experience coaching young persons’ sports is desirable. We also want to hear about any experience you have delivering other activities such as arts, dance, music, computing, or science.We would love to hear about any childcare or educational play certificates you may have! Skills: You will be able to work in a busy environment as part of a friendly team, interfacing with parents, staff, and most importantly the children. You will have the ability to adapt to different situations and think creatively.Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for working with children. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
