Industrial Electrician– EEHA, Auckland

The role: We are looking to hire an Industrial Electrician with hazardous area experience to add to our existing team of electricians. This is a full-time role with working hours of 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday– Friday. The role will see you running jobs on customers' sites, while supervising a small team of electricians and managing customer relationships on site. Our areas of expertise are:Undertaking electrical industrial repairs and maintenance to plants Electrical design specific for Hazardous Areas Supporting and installing control systems Electrical Project Management Upgrades to existing electrical/control systems Design of electrical safety systems Fault finding and servicing of electrical devices/systemsYou will be required to undertake pre-employment alcohol and drug testing as well as a Police security check due to the requirements of a number of our customers' sites. A day in the life of an Industrial Electrician: Your day will see you involved in a variety of tasks such as: Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment/systems utilized in industrial plants and hazardous areasPerforming scheduled maintenance on various plants' electrical infrastructure Installing, testing, and commissioning new electrical equipment and systems Implementing all relevant safety regulations and procedures Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work carried out Supervising a small team of electriciansWhat we require from you: We are committed to providing our clients’ exceptional service, ensuring the safety and efficiency of their electrical and control systems throughout their facilities.
