Our lovely residence in the Central City needs a new Residence Assistant Superstar to look after our 36 international students. Accommodation provided as remuneration for the role! Your day to day: Bring a sense of community in the Residence Weekly maintenance and cleaning checks Facilitate weekly check-outs and check-ins of students including residence orientationOrganise 1 onsite social event a week Set routine availability hours for students Assist students with issues Enforce community residence’s rules Report maintenance and disciplinary issues to EF Accommodation manager Meet with Accommodation team at the school twice a month Offering students cultural and emotional support as neededYou are: Positive and dynamic Flexible approach to hours Friendly and approachable, yet able to be firm when it comes to enforcing community rules Capacity to work unsupervised and as part of a team Understanding of the needs of international students living away from home Excellent command of EnglishThis role would suit a student as accommodation is provided, live-in style for the role.
