POSITION SUMMARY: To perform general dental services to the Katahdin Valley Health Center clients/patients who desire dental/oral health care with high quality and in a timely manner. Provides quality dental care and emergency treatment to KVHC clients. Aids in appropriate supervision, coordination, and implementation of oral health care programs and procedures. Provides input in the development of policies, services, and procedures to improve the oral health care in the area and to improve Health Center utilization.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Active State of Maine Dental License or ability to obtain Knowledge, experience and active support for rural community dental care Experience working with Community Health Centers Must possess the ability to work with other Medical and Dental Health Professionals effectivelyMentor and supervise hygienist and dental assistants Commitment to quality initiatives Must possess a clean criminal and DHHS background. Must possess the ability and means to travel between clinics as needed.
