Hours: Flexible (Negotiable) Hub of Hope Ltd is a Private Practice, located in Howick, East Auckland, that provides psychological services to clients of all ages presenting with a range of challenges. Specializing in child, adolescent and family therapy, Hub of Hope is inviting like-minded, experienced and compassionate Independent Psychologists to join the Hub in providing high-quality professional support to children, adolescents and their families in an onsite setting.Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, therapy, and interventions for children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. Provide counseling and support to parents/caregivers and families, addressing the emotional needs and dynamics within the family system.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Offer therapeutic interventions and strategies tailored to the developmental needs of children and adolescents. Provide psychoeducation and support to families regarding mental health, coping strategies, and child development.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including schools, social workers, and other healthcare providers. Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Required Qualifications: Registration with relevant Practicing Board in New Zealand.Current Practicing certificate in relevant field of Practice in New Zealand. Professional Indemnity Insurance strongly recommended. Must be a New Zealand Resident or Citizen with a right to work in New Zealand. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic capacity.Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health disorders, and family systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. A commitment to providing culturally competent, inclusive care.Experience with evidence-based approaches, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Family Therapy or other relevant evidence-based approaches. An advantage but not mandatory: Experience with trauma-informed care or other specialized therapeutic modalities. Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience with learning difficulties.Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus. What We Offer: Flexible schedule to support work-life balance.
