Exciting Opportunity! Our stunning new Care Home, based in the heart of Kerikeri, is opening in mid-2024. With an already established resort-style village featuring spectacular subtropical gardens, we are seeking 'Expressions of Interest' from experienced caregivers to provide top-quality care to our residents, making them feel safe, honored, and comfortable.About the Role We're looking for casual caregivers to join our teams, supporting our clinical teams in our care homes. These roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period, need extra money without committing to permanent hours, or want to explore a different role while earning and learning. This could be great for someone located in or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.Responsibilities: Provide exceptional care to our residents - ensuring they feel safe, supported, and comfortable. Work under the guidance of our registered nurses. Work in a supportive environment in a modern care facility. Requirements: We are looking for someone with the right attitude, excellent communication skills, and a good level of fitness who can work as part of a team to provide a high level of care. We are primarily seeking Level 4 caregivers but will also consider caregivers with other qualifications. Some advantageous qualifications include:Careerforce qualification or equivalent. Good level of fitness. Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly. Empathy and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives.
