If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and have a keen eye for fashion, this is the perfect opportunity for you!About the Role: As a Fashion Designer at Farmers, you will play a key role in shaping our Womenswear collections , working closely with the buying, planning, quality assurance, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, trend-conscious apparel that resonates with our customers. Key Responsibilities:What You'll Do: Lead the design and development of seasonal fashion collections in collaboration with the Womenswear buying team. Research market trends, fabrics, and silhouettes to create on-trend, customer-focused designs. Develop and present seasonal storyboards, mood boards, and colour palettes to Buyers.Work closely with suppliers to source quality fabrics and trims that align with Farmers' brand standards. Oversee the design process from concept to final production, ensuring alignment with business goals. Partner with Technical Design and Merchandise teams to resolve fit and construction issues.Monitor the performance of designs in the market and use data to inform future collections. Ensure all design work aligns with Farmers' brand identity, customer expectations, and commercial objectives. What You'll Bring: 10-15 years of fashion product development experience. 5-10 years of leadership experience in fashion design.Strong retail design experience with a proven track record of successful collections. Expert knowledge of fabric, trims, garment construction, and production processes. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.). Strong trend forecasting and market analysis skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
