Research Investment Lead, Auckland

In this exciting role, you will contribute to the development and lead the implementation of a new research investment strategy, a key action in our new organisational strategy. You will foster relationships with key research stakeholders, within and external to BRANZ. You will also support the functions of the Research Investment team, and play a thought leadership role within this supportive and empowering team.Your work will play a crucial role in shaping BRANZ’s research programme and will ensure that the Building Research Levy is invested in areas that will have the most significant impact in ensuring affordable, resilient, sustainable and quality buildings for Aotearoa New Zealand. About you To succeed in this role, you will have some/all of thefollowing:An in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand science and research sector and/or the building and construction system. A background in research management and the ability to bridge the gap between research problems and industry needs The credibility to represent BRANZ effectively and experience working with government and industry stakeholders, as well as BRANZ Ltd’s internal research stakeholders.A proven ability to provide written advice, insight and guidance to senior leadership The ability to discern investment that will make a real impact at a systems level, understand portfolio management and be financially savvy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
